Yaneer Bar-Yam's piece is fantastic. He speaks to taking a different approach to teams, and how people can approach them in a new way in order to achieve high efficiency. Take a look at some of the important points he makes:

"We need to stop looking for leaders and start looking for teammates."
"We need to find others we can trust about ideas, advice, and joint action."

"We need to shift the ego’s focus on autonomy, to pride in collectivity."

"We need to share the uncertainty we have as individuals in order to gain collective confidence and success."

These ideas point to the idea of shared thinking, where human connections need to be leveraged throughout an organization.

In addition, he speaks to leveraging others. The fact that you can look outside your organizaton, and build an external network that will help teams innovate.
